This project is access to yachts, boats, and motorboats around the world. Private vessel owners and huge charter companies — all of this is in our application. Hundreds of thousands of options, available 24/7 for ordering. This is not just a cool vacation — it is an easy-to-organize and comfortable vacation with an application from the SW product line. As part of a long and multi-stage collaboration with the SW brand, we created 4 projects and a centralized corporate data management system. This project was developed in partnership with the booking-manager provider.

Online yacht booking worldwide: search, selection, payment, and management in one system
In this project, we did not just make a catalog of pretty little boats =), but a full-fledged online yacht booking system around the world. The user can select a vessel by a large set of parameters: type, size, location, budget, dates, and other characteristics. Essentially, this is faceted search (a smart filter system by many attributes), which helps quickly narrow the choice and avoid drowning in hundreds of options.
It is especially pleasant when the result is liked not only by users, but also by the client themselves. Below is the client’s review of 4 projects at once. This is a good marker that we can not only assemble an interface, but build a working digital ecosystem.
Works from a phone, tablet, laptop, and regular computer
The service can be used in whatever way is convenient for a person: install the mobile application or open the platform from a laptop, tablet, or desktop. For products like this, this is critical, because today a user may be choosing a yacht in the office, and by the evening already scrolling through options from a phone in a taxi or at the airport.
We thought through the responsive interface (an interface that adapts to the screen size) so that the path from search to payment remains simple and clear on any device.
Yacht search not only by filters, but also by aesthetics
Not every client comes with an exact technical request along the lines of hull length 18 meters, 4 cabins, such-and-such draft. Sometimes a person simply wants to find that very yacht that visually grabs them. And that is absolutely normal =)
That is why we provided a scenario for choosing based on aesthetic preferences. In such interfaces, not only data logic matters, but also visual dramaturgy: cards, photos, accents, screen composition. To put it metaphorically, a good yacht catalog should work like a quiet harbor, not like a warehouse of Excel files after a storm.
Search worldwide, by countries, locations, and even specific marinas
The platform allows you to search for yachts both globally and in a specific country, city, region, or marina. This is no longer just a catalog filter, but geosearch (search tied to a location), where the correct data structure, indexing, and clear navigation for the user are important.
This approach is especially useful for international booking services, where a person may start with the idea I want a yacht in the Mediterranean Sea and end up choosing a specific marina in Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Italy, or Spain.
If you are interested in related cases in this niche, also take a look at Yacht Tours — there we developed the mechanics of searching for yacht tours, as well as SG Georgia, where similar logic helps search for properties and services tied to locations.
Unified navigation across the SW project line
Inside the product, a convenient navigation panel is implemented that also connects the user with other solutions in the SW line. This is already an ecosystem approach (when separate digital products work as a single organism), not just a lonely application in a vacuum.
For business, this is important for a simple reason: the better the services are connected with each other, the easier it is to grow repeat usage scenarios, retain the audience, and build a longer customer lifecycle.
Simple and reliable online payment via Stripe
For payment, we used Stripe — a payment gateway (a service for securely accepting online payments) that is well suited for international digital products. The user gets a familiar and understandable payment scenario, and the business gets transparent payment mechanics and convenient integration into the product architecture.
In systems like this, payment is not a button at the bottom of the page, but an important node of the entire business logic. Payment statuses, cancellations, confirmations, refunds, notifications, and the connection with orders must be handled correctly. Otherwise, even a beautiful interface quickly turns into a source of chaos.
Admin system for managing media content
For the administrative part of the project, we developed a convenient media content management system. This is a CMS module (a site content management panel), where it is possible to work with photos, descriptions, the structure of materials, and the platform’s visual content without constant developer involvement.
This approach saves the team time and makes it possible to update the catalog, promotional materials, and object cards faster. Simply put, content stops being a concrete slab that can only be moved with a crane.
Structured management of the entire project line
In addition to the content part, structured navigation across all projects in the line was designed for the administration. This is important when a business develops not as a single website, but as a set of connected services with shared logic, roles, and scenarios.
This is where system architecture comes into play (the correct scheme of relationships between modules, access rights, interfaces, and data). If it is not thought through in advance, the product starts coming apart at the seams at the first growth. If it is thought through, the system scales calmly and without digital hysteria.
What we got in the end
This project is a good example of what a modern platform for yacht rental and online booking looks like: multi-level search, international geography, mobile interface, secure payment, content admin, and a unified management ecosystem.
If the topic of travel-tech, booking systems, or marketplaces with complex logic is close to you, also take a look at the case Yacht Booking, the project Yacht Tours, the educational platform Yacht and the case Svit BUS, where we solved similar tasks of search, booking, refunds, and payment in another transport domain.
And if you have your own product on the horizon — a marketplace, booking service, corporate platform, or startup with non-trivial logic — visit the Ingello Systems landing page. There are reviews, a description of work principles, project stages, and the option to submit a request for a free consultation.
