Using so-called artificial intelligence, this SAAS allows text to be converted into audio and vice versa. It works by subscription through Stripe integration. The project was developed on NodeJS and Amazon Web Services, and a clever Amazon Pipelines system was designed. The frontend is on React.

We quickly figured out a number of specific technologies in which there was not even theoretical experience. This project was overloaded with technologies; we started working with it not from the very beginning, and the key architectural decisions had already been made. Based on requests for rapid scaling and autoscaling (automatic expansion of server resources without shutting it down), it was decided to follow a fully cloud-based development model. This has its advantages, but for this project there were probably more disadvantages, especially considering that the previous team did not continue the project and it came to us for development.
The very first problem is simple - when a project is stuffed with complex technologies, the number of people capable of improving it drops sharply.
The second problem is that when a project is packed with all the most modern things, after some time even the project’s author may not cope with the complexity or may simply get tired of the project.
In this project, the competencies of several specialists came together -
AWS DevOps for cloud computing and servers. The project infrastructure is thought out quite interestingly and, once you figure it out, is even convenient, but it is confusing and undocumented, so it implies the competence of a specialist for whom all of this is “obvious anyway.” Programmers rarely combine both good coding skills and deep experience with Amazon services.
React Developer - a frontend developer for the visual interface with knowledge of Typescript. This is the simplest part - it will be easiest for a frontend developer to debug the application. But only on the frontend. 99% of frontend developers will not be able to install the backend locally for tests under the conditions of this project. Knowledge of Typescript is not so rare now, but it is an additional complication that justifies itself only if you have a stable team that works on the project from beginning to end.
NodeJS Developer - a server-side developer with knowledge of Typescript. There are many such developers, but, again, there are many requirements here for knowledge of the specifics of Amazon services, and a mid-level backend developer will spend the first week simply going mad from helplessness and not understanding how to pass through the simplest bundle of parameters, which in simpler architectures is done in a minute.
All these competencies were heavily intersected through Amazon services, and the entry threshold into the project is very high. An ordinary developer with no Amazon experience simply will not understand how to carry out a basic test of changes, how to launch step-by-step debugging without installing special separate debugging software (which also requires experience).
