Purchasing goods in any business does not happen in one click. It is a complex, and sometimes very long, process that has its own “pitfalls”. Today we will look at how purchasing goods is arranged using our business tool FORMA.

Problem
Arranging a new supply is a serious matter for a company, and mistakes are of no use here. But the reality is that the human factor can bring large losses to a firm. For example, overhead costs are not always taken into account during the purchasing process. And because of this, there may be problems in product pricing and payment to the supplier. In addition, it is not immediately possible to determine what stage the next purchase is at, because far from all systems provide the necessary tools for this.
Solution
In FORMA, the purchasing operation takes place step by step and in such a way that nothing is overlooked. After entering the required warehouse, you choose a supplier. The creation date of this purchase will be inserted automatically, and the completion date will need to be selected after the goods have been received into stock. If necessary, you can add a comment to the supply.

When arranging or editing each purchase, you can change its status. For example, if you have already arranged everything and agreed on the availability of goods with the supplier, you can move on to the “Payment” stage. The necessary goods are selected using the search line. Opposite the required product, you can add currency, packaging, tax, and type (warehouse, customs, transit, other).
At the end of arranging the purchase, overhead costs will be indicated, and then the final amount. It will consist of the following sections: “Amounts excluding VAT”, “VAT”, “Overhead costs”, and “Total”. Thus, even during the process of arranging the supply, you will see all expense data.
